Dale Settle Jr. Foundation had the privilege of giving away over 2500 lbs. of groceries in the downtown Canton, OH area. Many thanks to our generous supporters who donated food products and monetary donations. Nearly everyone we talked to was very thankful to receive free groceries and most of them requested prayer—which we happily provided!
Dale Settle Sr.: We initially went door to door with groceries, asking people if they need prayer. But then people came out of their houses and approached our trailer, so we passed out groceries and prayed for people in the streets.
Michelle Settle: One individual called me the next day to thank our team for coming out to the neighborhood. He said that we had rekindled his passion for God.
Youth Volunteer: One grandma was moved to tears when we brought her groceries she had asked for. We took time to talk with her and pray about her needs.
Volunteer: This is the best thing that ever happened to me—going out and helping people that are hurting. I can’t wait for the next Food Giveaway.
